Vehicle File Maintenance - DEL 3

The Vehicle File defines characteristics about each vehicle used in the delivery of goods.

When this option is selected the Vehicle File Entry screen appears.

If you do not know the Vehicle ID, press F6. All the available vehicle IDs appear.

Enter a Vehicle ID and Action Code and press Enter to access the Vehicle File Profile Screen.

Field Name	Description/Instructions
Vehicle No.	The number you assign to that vehicle as entered on the Vehicle Entry Screen.
Description	Enter a brief name or description of the vehicle.
Warehouse	The warehouse to which the vehicle is normally assigned.
Outstanding Features	A description of features of the truck that identify it from the rest of the fleet.
Mileage	Current vehicle mileage.
Last Inspection Date	Date of last inspection on the vehicle.
Maximum Weight	Maximum allowable weight to be loaded on the vehicle.
Maximum Cubes	Number of cubes the vehicle will hold.
Lease Number	Option if vehicle is leased.
